This policy applies to the InvoiceHelper mobile application and related services. It explains what personal data we collect, how we collect it, and how we use it, as required by Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password or sign-in token, business name.
- Commercial content you create: invoices, estimates, line items, tax figures, job schedule entries, client names, addresses, and contact details you enter.
- Device and usage: device type, OS version, crash logs, approximate diagnostics needed to keep the app working.
- Payments: if you buy a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We receive subscription status, not your full card number.
- Support: messages you send to us.
Client details you type into invoices are provided by you as a business user. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to store your clients’ data in the app.
2. How we collect it
Directly from you in the app and by email; automatically from the device when the app runs; from Apple for in-app purchases.
3. How we use it
- To provide invoices, estimates, and scheduling (contract).
- To secure accounts and prevent abuse (legitimate interests).
- To support you and improve reliability (legitimate interests).
- To meet tax and accounting duties where they apply to us (legal obligation).
We do not sell this data. We do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Sharing
Hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery if you send documents from the app, Apple for store and purchase functions, and professional advisers or authorities where required by law. Any processor is held to confidentiality and security terms.
5. Retention
We keep account and invoice data while the account is active and for a period afterwards as needed for legal claims and bookkeeping (often up to six years for financial records in the UK). You may request deletion; see delete an account.

7. Children
InvoiceHelper is intended for business users, not children.
